Been coming here strictly for the Veal Parmesan w/extra cheese, salad, bread for 34 years... Only once have I gotten something else besides veal, and that was shrimp scampi: equally awesome! The chef must be a Michelin star in my book if not, two stars. That’s right. Hope you enjoy as much as I do, see you when I get there.

We went here on a recommendation from a friend after a wedding. It was fantastic. Our server was extremely helpful and friendly. The food was filling, flavorful, and stupendous. We are already talking about going back to try more of the menu.

One of the last family owned and operated Italian restaurants in Orange county. I have been coming here for over two decades and the food quality and service are always outstanding. This is definitely a heavier and larger portioned place and we usually have plenty of leftovers. The complimentary garlic bread is always good and some of the pastas are home made. Much better than any of the big Italian chains and the best Tiramisu of any Italian restaurant around.

Thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at Mangia Mangia. I honestly didn't know what to expect. Located on a strip mall in HB with plenty of parking (yes!), the restaurant had a very homey neighborhood feel. The wow factor happened when the food arrived. The calamari was PERFECT, fresh, soft and moist on the inside and crisp on the outside. Marinara sauce was yummm! We had the swordfish stuffed with eggplant. Both swordfish and accompanying pasta were perfect! Fresh garlic bread on the side with included salad. Sooo so good. And the piece de resistance--- the souffle. I did not expect such good food from a neighborhood restaurant! I also did notice a sign. "No wine corkage fees on Mondays and Tuesdays." Wish I knew that earlier. We did order a perfectly good pinot grigio from Sicily. It went really well with our meal. To summarize my review --- No frills, just plain delicious! Service was also superb!

Mangia Mangia has been one of our go-to spots for years, and it’s never let us down. We've been here many times and not once have we had a dish that missed the mark. The food is consistently excellent — especially the seafood, which is always fresh and cooked just right. Service is always solid. The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure everything runs smoothly without feeling intrusive. The vibe is relaxed and welcoming, perfect whether you're with family, on a date, or out with friends. The unlimited garlic bread deserves its own mention — warm, fresh, and way too easy to eat a lot of. It’s hard not to fill up on it before the main course. Portions are generous, so you definitely get your money’s worth, and the pricing is more than fair for what you’re getting. Another plus: parking is never a hassle since there's a private lot in the plaza. It’s convenient and makes the whole experience that much easier. Mangia Mangia is a true local gem — low-key, reliable, and always satisfying. Highly recommend.
